Nordea Riga marathon
According to the information provided by the organisers, 8593 participants from 35 countries have applied for Nordea Riga Marathon, this is 3300 runners more than in the previous year. 1067 runners represented 34 foreign states.
The majority of participants had applied for the five kilometres mini marathon distance – there were 5966 competitors. In the half marathon (21,097km) there participated 1604 persons but in the marathon (42,195km) – 649 runners. In the marathon relay (4x10,55km) there participated 66 teams with 264 participants.
SACCO also took part in the run and took the 2nd place with the score 43:36.
