Football

Following its traditions SACCO is the general sponsor of the football club DINABURG.
The football club DINABURG was founded in 1996. Its president is Oļegs Gavrilovs who is at the same time also the Member of the Board of the Latvian Football Federation.
Football club DINABURG has been taking part in the Latvian championship already for more than ten years. In 1996 and 1997 it took the 3rd place but from the year 1998 till 2005 – the 4th place. The club is also a long-term participant of the „UEFA Intertoto Cup” championships. The coach of the team is the experienced Tamaz Pertia from Georgia. The team consists of both the local players and legionaries from Ukraine, Belarus and Russia.
